I think the movie was well played because not only that beautiful actors were in the movie, is that because the director Kenny Ortega has been experience through all his other shows. This film isn't darker, but it is spunkier. Still, if this second movie doesn't match up to the first, it's because of moving it away from the dream of Triple Talent Status. Adults have their music, their innuendos, their profane-angry-paranoid-hurtfully honest songs. Everything and everyone was perfect. They should of added more about their family's, and where their from but otherwise it was amazing.
As they reach for the stars and follow their dreams, everyone learns about acceptance, teamwork, and being yourself. From the clothes, casting, choreography, sets. After getting a callback, drama queen Sharpay Evans and her sidekick brother Ryan are furious. It's a good message: The future will come soon enough. Winks towards adult audiences have their place, but so do productions where a kid isn't talked down to or expected to grow up too fast. Each of the actors did a superb job bringing his or her character to life.

I haven't met anybody like any of those three since I was, like, ten. And no wonder musical theater is so rough. Disney's been great at soundtracks but they'll have to do a lot better for part 3. It was just sooooo great! It's like every high school musical theater junkie's dream. Numerous international versions have been created, plus stage musicals and video games have been released, among other things. It should be made into a real stage musical. I'm not sure whether this paints a more bleak picture of the Disney operation or of a wide swath of the downward-spiraling American culture. Disney has proved itself once again as the movie magnet! Instead of risking social status to be yourself, to find yourself, it is now about the dangers of losing yourself, by giving into social status. By moving into more complex territory, it grows up. I hope that maybe they will make a High School Musical 2 in the future. The whole production was so shallow. The main character who played Troy was an awful actor and has a terrible singing voice.
