It makes training new people on the software a breeze and it so easy for so many different types of people to learn. Regarding V4, it will remain a MediaShout classic that has served us well, but unfortunately due to it being around 10 years old, certain components were not able to be kept up because of their age. Can you add this scripture? I actually hate it, but have not choice but to use it. We sent out many emails to our customers that support would be available that weekend and notified customers via pop-ups on our website as well. It is easy to import these into the script for him.
Our passtion is to provide a program that is easy to use and functional for the church. I would wish that they had both products being updated to keep their strong points so that both small and large churches could have terrific programs that fit their needs more. The tutorial videos were not helpful at all. Regarding loopinb video, there are three scenarios. Pros: MediaShout 5 is a terrific software. I still look forward to see one day Scrolling Announcement Feature in future versions. I like how i can prepare a presentation at home and drop it onto the cloud and pick it all up at church with no issues.
Pros: You can do most things under the one computer. On-premise worship and presentation software for live events which enables users to show videos, display lyrics, make high-quality live production, integrate with social media and more. I know I can use the alignment buttons the software provides, but like I said, I'm anal about word placement. My operator was unfamiliar with it, and we had issues. If you are experiencing any issues whatsoever, we are here to help. After the learning curve, the software is easy to use. We know that with a new interface comes some time getting comfortable with it, and that time is valuable especially in ministry.
It is just that the jump from 5 to 6 is, in my opinion too great with a completely new look and feel. Overall, it was a great success for a small church doing it on our own, with no prior experience. Cons: There's so much function and capabilities that I am not aware of. Fortunately, their customer support is available on Sunday mornings for those few but vital times needed. We were surprised to see that you found ProPresenter easier to use! Any level from beginner to advanced will have no trouble using this product. We appreciate your feedback and will use it in future development to improve our product for the end user.
It's easy to set moving backgrounds and it has pretty good default art setups for church presentation. Though we haven't taken advantage of using a tablet at the pulpit, we were excited to know that we could attach one to better help the pastor navigate through his slides. Although designed for Churchs, it can be used as a general purpose display application. The training videos don't cover all areas but a quick support call will quickly get you up to speed. Pros: The easy to use 'drag and drop script' format and pre-installed songs, video backgrounds and Bible translations are a huge help for any church especially smaller staffed churches like mine. In most cases, it was caused by someone changing a setting that was expected to have an impact. Can it be removed, and find another way for verification? I have been a broadcast television editor since 2001 and this has been the fastest and best tech support I have received in my entire career.
My experience was great for versions 3-5. There are glitches with every software program and MediaShout is no exception. Maybe I just don't know how to use the newer software, but it feels a lot harder to control since I'm using my mouse a lot more. In addition, they have posted negatively on numerous sites because we won't provide a refund which is clearly stated in our policies instead of allowing our team to support them like we do for our many other customers. They are very easy to accomplish with MediaShout. However, our support staff was available on that Saturday from 11am-11pm and on Sunday from 7am-11am.
This previously was super easy, but for some reason this option no longer exists as it once did. We need something that is stable. The learning curve of a new interface doesn't allow me to receive value from this product Cons: User Interface. Pros: The ease of use is the best feature. Just drag and drop everything in the order you want it and wallah! Pros: What I like most about the software is the options you have to easily mix your media types text, fonts, graphics, etc. Pastor's happy and we're happy! We're beginners, and don't have a professional team running our audio-visual equipment, so sometimes we cause the problems ourselves.
Pros: It allows me to use beautiful motions as backgrounds and I can put text over the motions. Mediashout support has been timely and useful in resolving our issue. You can learn a lot about how to use a program more effectively by communicating with other end users. MediaShout is a comprehensive and effective software solution that combines various worship utilities in order to help users to simultaneously edit and play their presentations without interrupting the audience. Pros: Great product for building traditional services with liturgy and contemporary services with the latest music.

I get a cue set up with pages that advance perfectly, and then the next time I run the script, significant time has been added to some of the pages. When I've needed support, they've been incredibly, well, supportive. MediaShout 6 is used to display song lyrics, scripture, and media to the screens for worship services and gatherings. The videos were for my own father's funeral and the help I got took away my confusion and stress about the correct output resolutions and compressions. They don't sell you something and then leave you hanging. From basic worship presentations to intricate multimedia experiences, version 4 connects your creativity with powerful tools to communicate life's most important message. It's the glitches tied to program freezes that distracts from Sunday services.
